Diva Nina Dog Product Review

A few years ago, when Benji and I went to the Ottawa Pet Expo, we met Nadine at her Diva Nina booth and fell in love with her products. I wanted to buy the whole store for Benji, but I was tight on budget and left with her business card instead.

Her items were, however, always on my mind and I regretted not buying anything back then. This year, I finally contacted her using the wrinkled business card I had kept for so long, and we agreed to meet at the Ottawa Pet Expo again this year.

We bought this cozy and fluffy burrowing blanket that Benji hasn't left since. We chose the one with the blue, deer design and we are in LOVE! At 45$, this was a steal. We mostly use it on the couch, where Benji can just burrow in as he always does.

When he's too hot and wants to come out, we roll it up and use it as a cozy bed instead. Sometimes, he'll also just sit on the blue part, which is cooler as there's no fur.

This cozy burrowing blanket is machine washable and guess what... it can also be used to carry your dog in your purse! This is the part that I loved the most. You just put the cozy in your purse and roll down the sides around the purse so it can serve as a dog carrier. This is especially perfect in the winter (welcome to Canada).

Before getting this cozy, Benji hated going on walks. Whenever I asked him if he wanted to go out, he would zoom out of my view to go hide under the bed. Since I got this however, Benji miraculously rushes to the entrance with his tail wagging whenever I get ready to leave with him.

This is not all. We also got something else!

Last year, despite me trying my best to keep him warm outside, Benji's ear froze a little from the cold and hasn't really gone back to normal since. One of his ears is now a little bent while the other one has stayed pointy.

So this year, I wanted to get him a winter hat and I spent a lot of time researching the warmest, smallest, comfiest one that would also cover his ears. Turns out, Diva Nina had the best one!

Yes, he does look a little ridiculous, we both agree...

But winter is coming (who else is desperately waiting for the next Game of Thrones season?) and for once, me and this little yeti right here are ready to survive!
