Who else owns a little dog?
Do you wish your little one could meet other dogs his size without having to worry about all the other big dogs around?
Then this is the group for you! I personally love big dogs and still dream of owning a Great Dane one day (also so he can have a backpack filled with chihuahuas), but my 2 chihuahuas seem to become even smaller when they see a big dog walking towards them. Read More
The Byward Barket is an event for dogs that takes place in Ottawa every year and Benji and I never miss it! This year, Tofu (our newest addition to the family) was able to make it too and although I had to leave early due to my allergies (I have this love-hate relationship with spring), we all had tons of fun as usual. Who else went to Westboro Fuse this year? Benji and I visited yesterday with his 2 BFFs, Daisy and Peach. The weather was amazing and after all the walking, barking and tail-wagging, they were all snoring by the time we got back to the car. Read More
Last Friday was the perfect day for a mini-session after a horrible heat wave that lasted about a week! I had been telling Benji that he was going to meet "Serena the Wan-Wan" for days. "Wan-wan" is baby talk for "dog" in Japanese and Benji clearly understood (or so I'd like to think). Read More

Obviously, Benji had to come with us. Read More
It finally happened! My sweet foster Pooh Bear found his furever home at last.
On the way to drop him off, I felt like I was betraying him. There he was, following me like he always used to do. At the usual corner that we take to head back home, he stopped and tried to take his usual route. Instead, we continued walking to where my car was parked. He looked confused but went on to walk behind me. Read More
Although I used to live with 7 chihuahuas and 5 cocker spaniels back in Switzerland (and chickens… and tortoises… and guinea pigs… and… ok I should stop), I find that living with 3 dogs at the moment is still a struggle.
My mom’s chihuahua Daisy is currently staying with us and I swear I could make 3 more chihuahuas out of all the fur she’s losing in my apartment. Read More
